Veg-Protine Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. 2 slices of sweet bread
  • 2. 1 small smashed potato
  • 3. 1 tbsp green Peas
  • 4. 1 tbsp capsicum chopped
  • 5. 2 tbsp grated carrot
  • 6. 1 tbsp onion chopped
  • 7. 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 8. 2 tsp tomato sauce
  • 9. 2 tsp butter
  • 10. 1 tsp grated cheese
  • 11. 1 tsp grated paneer
  • 12. 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 13. 1/2 tsp salt

PREPARATION

1. Heat vegetable oil and add chopped onion, chopped capsicum, grated carrot.

2. Add salt to taste, green peas, chopped green chilli and stir fry for 3 minutes on medium-low heat.

3. Add mashed potato, cheese.

4. Add grated paneer, mix well and turn off the gas.

5. In another pan heat butter and toast bread slices very lightly.

6. Apply tomato sauce on one side of each bread.

7. Add the stuffing mixture on one bread slice.

8. Lastly cover with an another bread slice with the tomato sauce spread facing down.
