  • 1. 1 handful chana dal
  • 2. 1 cup beyyapa ravva(rice ravva)
  • 3. 2 cups water
  • 4. 4 tbsp ghee
  • 5. 1 tbsp salt
  • 6. 1 teaspoon cumin


1. In a pan add ghee when it is hot add cumin and allow to splutter

2. Now add water, chana daal, salt and allow to boil

3. When water gets one boil add ravva

4. Allow this to cook in sim flame for 10 to 15 min

5. After 15min turn off flame and wet your hands and make round balls when they are hot

6. If they are allowed to cool balls may not be formed

7. As it is prasadam (offering) to god we use ghee otherwise you can use oil
