INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Big Onion 3 nos
  • 2. Basen powder/ Chickpeas Powder 4 tbsp
  • 3. Rice Flour 1 tbsp
  • 4. Hing 1/4 tsp
  • 5. Fennel powder 2 pinch
  • 6. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • 7. Green chilli 2 nos
  • 8. Curryleaves 2 sprig
  • 9. Ginger,small 1 nos
  • 10. Salt 1 pinch
  • 11. Sugar 2 pinch
  • 12. Oil-for frying 500 ml

PREPARATION

1. Peel and clean the onion

2. Cut them into fine slices

3. To that add ginger,green chilli,curry leaves ,and salt Mix well

4. Then add chilli powder,asafetida powder and fennel powder

5. Mix well,Keep aside for 10 minutes

6. Then to that add rice flour and basen flour

7. Mix well,finally add sugar and mix

8. Heat oil in a kadai

9. Now pour the coated onion in small small part in to the hot oil

10. Deep fry them

11. Remove from the oil and drain

12. Serve the hot pakoda with chutney or tomato sauce
