Tangy Fish

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Fish steaks 10
  • 2. Oil 1 tbsp
  • 3. Salt 3 tsp
  • 4. Curry leaves 100gm
  • 5. Chilli 6
  • 6. Diced onions 3
  • 7. Diced tomatoes 4
  • 8. Tamarinds juice 3 cups
  • 9. Roasted cumin 3 tsp
  • 10. Fenugreek 1 tsp
  • 11. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • 12. Red chilli powder 3 tsp
  • 13. Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • 14. Cilantro 100 gms

PREPARATION

1. Add fish steaks to a pan and rub salt on the steaks

2. Add oil, onion paste, diced tomatoes, green chillies, and curry leaves

3. Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander, cumin and Fenugreek powder

4. Add tamarind juice extract and salt

5. Cook on medium heat for 5 min

6. Don't use the spoon to stir the pan rather just shake it

7. Add more tamarind extract and cook for 5 min

8. Add salt to taste, cumin and Fenugreek powder

9. Garnish with cilantro, curry leaves and simmer
