Simple Pulisseri/Pulissery without Vegetables

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Buttermilk OR Curd 1 litre
  • 2. Salt- Water 1 cups
  • 3. For Grinding: Coconut grated 3/4 cups
  • 4. Garlic 2 nos
  • 5. Green chilli 2 nos
  • 6. Curry leaves 3 nos
  • 7. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • 8. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • 9. For Seasoning :Oil 2 tbsp
  • 10. Dry red chilli 3 nos
  • 11. Ginger chopped 1/2 tsp
  • 12. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • 13. Fenugreek seeds 2 pinch
  • 14. Curry leaves 1 sprig
  • 15. Chilli powder 1 pinch
  • 16. Fengreek powder 1 pinch

PREPARATION

1. Grind everything together to a fine paste

2. In a blender add curd and grind to buttermilk

3. In a kadai add ground coconut mix along with 1/2 glass of water

4. Allow to boil this mix for 5 minutes

5. Then to that add butter milk and add salt

6. No need to boiljust heat for a few minute

7. Then add seasoning and close the kadai for 5 minutes

8. Check the salt and adjust,So the yummy simple pulisseri is ready to serve
