Semolina Pudding / Sheera

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Semolina /sooji 1 cups
  • 2. sugar 1 cups
  • 3. ghee/Butter 4 tsp
  • 4. chopped Cashwenuts 9-10 nos
  • 5. munnaka/ Dry Grapes 9-10 nos
  • 6. soaked Almond finely chopped 9-10 nos
  • 7. Milk 1 cups
  • 8. water 3 cups
  • 9. Elaichi /cardamom 1 tsp
  • 10. kesar soaked in milk 2 tbsp

PREPARATION

1. Take a pan and roast Semolina /Sooji till its light brown. Keep it aside .

2. put Butter/Ghee in a pan and add Cashew/Kaju and dry Grapes/Munakka for 30 seconds.

3. dd roasted Semolina/Sooji to the pan and roast it for another 3-4 mins.

4. Add Sugar, Milk, Saffron/Kesar milk and water. Mix it well till Semolina/Sooji absorbs everything and is dry.

5. Serve it hot in a bowl and spread finely chopped soaked Almonds/Badam on top.
