INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Semolina/Roasted Rava 1/2 Cups
  • 2. Jaggery grated /powder 2 Tablespoons
  • 3. Water 1 Cups
  • 4. Ghee 2 Tablespoons
  • 5. cashew nuts 3 Tablespoons
  • 6. raisins 2 Tablespoons
  • 7. cardamom 2 Nos
  • 8. nutmeg grated 1/2 Teaspoons
  • 9. clove 2 Nos
  • 10. salt 1 Pinch

PREPARATION

1. Its a Kesari recipe made in a healthy way, with jaggery instead sugar. Kids will love it , adults too. So lets go to the recipe.

2. Take a pan, add 2 tbsp ghee, fry raisins and cashew and keep aside.

3. In the same pan with left over ghee, add 2 cloves, cardamom crushed along with grated nutmeg.

4. Add roasted semolina to it , saute well and add water with jaggery and a pinch of salt.

5. Let it cook well and the water drains, saute till a halwa consistency ( it should comes off the pan)

6. Flame off and garnish with nuts and raisins.
