Pasta Salad

Perfect salad for breakfast or dinner made using homemade italian salad dressing !!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Pasta : 1 cup ( I have used penne pasta)
  • 2. Brocolli florets: 1/2 cup
  • 3. Red bell pepper: 1/4 cup chopped
  • 4. Yellow bell pepper: 1/4 cup chopped
  • 5. Olives: 4 to 5
  • 6. Olive oil: 1/4 cup
  • 7. Fresh or dried garlic: 1 teaspoon
  • 8. Oregano: 1/2 teaspoon
  • 9. Thyme: 1/2 teaspoon
  • 10. Salt: 1 pinch
  • 11. Black pepper powder: 1 pinch
  • 12. Red chilli flakes: 1/4 teaspoon
  • 13. Apple cider vinegar: 2 tablespoon
  • 14. Honey: 1 teaspoon
  • 15. Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon

PREPARATION

1. Boil pasta in water with little salt for 5 to 6 mins.

2. Meanwhile prepare italian dressing by mixing together olive oil, fresh garlic, dried oregano, chilli flakes, salt, pepper powder, apple cider vinegar, honey and lemon juice.

3. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add normal water and drain again.

4. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil to pasta and mix so that they do not stick.

5. Now in a bowl mix together pasta, veggies and italian dressing and refrigerate for 10 mins and serve.
