Palak khichdi

  • 1. For kichdi 1 cup of rice ,half cup of yellow lentil and pinch of turmeric powder and salt as per taste and half bunch of palak and and 4 pods of garlic,2 finely chopped onion and 1 tomato finely chopped,and 7 curry leaves and 2 green chilly ,pinch of cummin seeds


1. first cook khichdi in pressure cooker take rice which is cleaned along with yellow lentil and 3 times more quantity of water and add turmeric powder and pinch of hing and one spoon of oil mix everything and pressure cook khichdi till 2whistle.Next step is put palak in Boling water and allow it to cook till it's soft once it's done then remove palak and cool palak in ice cold water to arrest cooking further to maintain green colour once palak is cold then add green chillies and fee coriander leaves and grind everything to prepare palak puree. Last step as follows take a wok add oil once oil is hot then add cummin seeds and onions and tomatoes mix everything and add curry leaves let everything cook then add pinch of turmeric and palak puree and pre cooked khichdi mix everything cover for few minutes it's ready now
