Matcha Green Tea Rice Pudding

this recipe came to me when i had a matcha latte and was eating a blackrice pudding at work and i thought about mixing the two... needless to say its fabulous 
oh and the best part is its completely vegan

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. 300g of jasmine rice
  • 2. 2.5L of rice milk
  • 3. 3-6 tablespoons of rice syrup (dedpinding on how sweet you like it)
  • 4. 3 heaped teaspoons of matcha powder
  • 5. 1/4 teaspoon of cinoman
  • 6. 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

PREPARATION

1. To make this is really simple, in a meduim sized pot place everything but the rice and bring to a simmer and mix until combined

2. Then add the rice and keep at a constant simmer, sitrling offten making sure not to burn the bottom of the pot

3. Simmer for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, if at some point it gets to dry just add more rice milk

4. once you have reached a desiered consistency take off the heat, and serve either warm or cold, both go really well with a hand full of berries, a drizzel of rice syrup and a sprinkle of cinoman
