MACHHALI - ANDA KA PAKODA (FISH EGG'S​ BITES)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Fish's eggs - 250 Gms
  • 2. Red lentil (masoor daal) - 1/2 Cup soaked 2 hrs
  • 3. Onion - 2 large finely chopped lengthwise​
  • 4. Green chillies - 4
  • 5. Garlic paste - 1 Tsp
  • 6. Ginger paste - 1/2 Tsp
  • 7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • 8. Chilly powder - 1/4 Tsp / to taste
  • 9. Aniseeds - 1/2 Tsp
  • 10. Coriander leaves - 1 Tbsp
  • 11. Salt -1/2 Tsp / to taste
  • 12. Black salt - 1/2 Tsp
  • 13. Chaat masala - 1 Tsp
  • 14. Mustard oil / vegetable oil - 150 Ml for frying

PREPARATION

1. First wash fish's eggs very gently with cover

2. Make thick paste of masoor daal and green chillies with very little water

3. Make some cut marks on egg cover with help of knief and take out cover of egg as much as possible

4. Take a large bowl,Add all ingredients as fish- eggs, lentil paste, ginger n garlic paste,chilly powder, turmeric powder, carom seeds, onion, coriander leaves and salt in it

5. Mix very well and keep aside for 15 minutes

6. Heat oil in a heavy bottom deep fry pan or kadhai on high flame,Reduce flame on medium heat

7. Drop little - little amount of mixture very carefully with help of a spoon or hand as pakoda in oil

8. Fry both of sides of pakodas till golden brown,Take out from kadhai and keep it on tissue paper so that extra oil will be observed

9. Serve hot pakodas with fried beaten rice, tomato sauce, coriander dip and sliced onion, It can be serve without​ fried beaten rice also

10. You can enjoy these pakodas with fried beaten rice / puffed rice in rainy day.
