Hyacinth Beans Curry -- Avarekalu curry is very popular in Karnataka.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. 1 cup Hyacinth Beans
  • 2. 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 3. 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 4. 2 green chilies (slit)
  • 5. 3-4 curry leaves
  • 6. Salt as per taste - 1/2 teaspoon
  • 7. 1/2 teaspoon oil
  • 8. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 9. 1 teaspoon grated coconut

PREPARATION

1. In a pressure cooker, boil Hyacinth Beans for 3 to 4 whistles. Allow it to cool. ow take a pan, add oil. Once the oil is heat add mustard, chopped onion and fry well.
