Honey Chilly Paneer

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. For Frying Paneer:
  • 2. 50 gm paneer
  • 3. 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 4. For Gravy:
  • 5. 1 onion sliced
  • 6. 1/2 capsicum sliced
  • 7. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 8. 3 to 4 green chilly chopped
  • 9. 1 tbsp chilly sauce
  • 10. 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 11. 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 12. 2 tbsp honey
  • 13. 1 tsp chilly flakes
  • 14. Salt to taste
  • 15. 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 16. 4 tbsp oil
  • 17. 2 cup water
  • 18. 1/4 tsp sesame seeds

PREPARATION

1. Keep paneer into salty water for 10 minutes. Drain it. And cut into square cubes.

2. Coat each paneer pieces with corn flour.

3. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan. Shallow fry paneer from both sides till deep golden color.

4. Take it out on a plate.

5. Now transfer the oil into kadhai.

6. Add in onion. cook till the brown.

7. Add in ginger garlic paste and capsicum and 1/4 cup of water.

8. Cook till capsicum becomes soften.

9. Now add green chilly, tomato sauce, soya sauce, chilly sauce and honey. Mix it well. cook for few minutes.

10. Now mix 2 tbsp corn flour and 1/4 cup water. Add this in a kadhai.

11. Add 1 1/2 cup water and cover it.

12. Cook it for 20 minutes or until it thickens.

13. Sprinkle red chilly flakes and mix it.

14. Now add paneer and mix it. Cover the lid and cook on a low flame for 5 minutes.

15. Honey chilly paneer is ready to dish out. Sprinkle some sesame seeds. And enjoy this with boiled rice.
