Crab Roast

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. Crab 3/4 kgs
  • 2. Big Onion 4 nos
  • 3. Chilly Powder 1 tbsp
  • 4. Kashmiri Chili Powder 1/2 tbsp
  • 5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • 6. Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  • 7. Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
  • 8. Tomato,big chopped finely 2 nos
  • 9. Ginger,big piece 1 nos
  • 10. Garlic Cloves 10 nos
  • 11. Fennel Seeds 1/2 tbsp
  • 12. Whole Pepper 1 1/2 tsp
  • 13. Curry Leaves 3 sprig
  • 14. Green Chilly 2 nos
  • 15. Coconut Oil 1/2 cups
  • 16. Salt 2 pinch

PREPARATION

1. Heat oil in a deep bottomed kadai

2. Add ginger-garlic-pepper-fennel paste

3. Saute for 2 minutes in medium heat

4. Then add chopped onions,green chilli and curry leaves and saute well,In between add salt

5. Saute till the onion become brown colour

6. Now add all the powders one by one in a low flame and saute till the raw smell goes

7. Then add chopped tomatoes and stir well with the onion and close the pan and cook well(low flame)

8. Check the salt

9. Finally add the cleaned crab pieces

10. Stir well and close the kadai with a lid and cook

11. Occasionally stir well

12. When the gravy become thick open the lid and add some more hot water

13. Close and cook

14. Now roast till the oil appears

15. At that time crab will be coated with the masala

16. Finally add one small tomato pieces

17. Sprinkle some more pepper powder

18. Sprinkle some more curry leaves and coconut oil

19. So the simple and delicious Crab Roast is ready to serve
