CHICKEN SHAHI ROLL

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. 250 gms boneless skinless chicken
  • 2. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3. 2 green chillies
  • 4. 1 small onion
  • 5. 2 tbsp of coriander
  • 6. 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 7. 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8. 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 9. 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 10. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 11. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 12. 1 tsp chat masala
  • 13. 2 tbsp butter
  • 14. 2 bread slices
  • 15. 4-5 cheese slices
  • 16. 2 egg whites for coating
  • 17. 1 cup bread crumbs for coating
  • 18. 4-5 tbsp oil for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a chopper add chicken, bread, salt ,ginger garlic paste, green chillies, onion, butter & all powdered spices.

2. Run the chopper for 1-2 minutes, until everything combines to a fine thick paste

3. Now grease plastic sheet/ butter paper. Add 1 tbsp of the Chicken mix on it. Place another sheet on top & flatten with a plate

4. Make a 2-3 mm disc of the chicken mixture.

5. Now place half a slice of cheese in the centre.

6. Carefully roll the Chicken disc, removing the extra chicken.

7. Seal the open ends. Coat with bread crumbs.

8. Refrigerate for 15 minutes if required.

9. Beat the 2 egg white along with a pinch of salt.

10. Heat 4-5 tbsp oil in their pan.

11. Coat the rolls in egg white & fry until the rolls are golden brown.

12. Serve with chutney/ketchup
