Carrot Ghee Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1. 2 cups maida
  • 2. 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3. 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 4. 1 carrot grated
  • 5. 2 cups whole milk
  • 6. 1 tsp salt
  • 7. 1 tsp baking soda
  • 8. 1 cup ghee

PREPARATION

1. In a large bowl add all the ingredients except baking soda and milk

2. Mix all the ingredients and add milk as required to make the thick batter

3. Once the batter is made, add soda and mix it smoothly

4. Coat the cake vessel with ghee and pour the batter in it. Let it set for 3 mins before cooking

5. Can add almonds, cashew

6. Preheat the cooker with the steel stand in it. Can add salt/soil for the heat at the bottom of cooker. Water can also be used but should not enter the batter.
