Mean Beanburger

A twist


Kidney beans/rajma(soaked overnight and boiled) - 1 cup

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1 teaspoon

Green chili paste - 1 teaspoon

Dry mango powder - 1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Fresh coriander leaves - 1/4 cup

Onion/pyaz(chopped) - 1/4 cup

Bread slices - 2


Lettuce/tomatoes(sliced) - 1(optional)

Cheese slices (optional)


Take a bowl and add mashed kidney beans, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala, green chili paste, dry mango powder, salt, bread, chopped onions and coriander leaves and mix it well.

Make the patties for the burger and shape them.

Heat a saucepan and heat the butter.

Place the patties and roast them till they turn brown.

Place slices of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and cheese for toppings on the burger bun.

Mean bean burger is ready to be served.
